Hourly rates

| 1 mover + truck | A$129.00/hr | Owner-operator plus box truck with tail lift. Best for packed homes where the customer can help with light items, or pre-agreed solo-safe loads. Everything must be packed and boxed. No single item beyond two-person lift unless customer assists. |
| 2 movers + truck | A$169.00/hr | Two movers plus box truck with tail lift. Standard for 2+ bedroom homes, heavy furniture and stairs. Required for pianos-excluded heavy items, multiple flights of stairs, or unpacked homes. |
Prices are not subject to GST while Ormond Movers is below the GST registration threshold. If GST registration occurs, prices will state GST explicitly.
Minimum and increments
- Minimum charge: 3 hours per job.
- After the minimum, time is billed in 15-minute increments of actual time worked.
- All prices shown before your move are estimates, not fixed prices — the final cost is the booked hourly rate times billed time.
Deposit
Deposit is 20% of the minimum charge, capped at A$100, credited to the final invoice.
Surcharges and access policies

| Stairs | A$15.00 per extra flight, per mover | First flight of stairs included. Extra flights add a fixed charge per flight; disclosed at quote time. |
| Long carry | A$30.00 one-off | If truck parking is more than 20m from the door, a one-off long-carry charge applies. |
| Travel | A$2.50 per km outside the core area | Travel inside the core service area is included. Outside it, a per-km charge applies each way beyond the boundary, quoted up front. |
Scope — what we do and don't do
- Launch scope is moving packed homes. Boxes must be packed and sealed before arrival; packing service is a roadmap item.
- Specialty heavy items are declined at launch and referred out. Honest scope beats damaged goods.
- No rubbish/disposal runs at launch.
Cancellation
Free cancellation or reschedule up to 48 hours before the slot. Inside 48 hours the deposit is forfeited; one free reschedule with 24+ hours notice. Full cancellation policy.
