Simple hourly pricing
1 mover + truck
A$129.00/hr · 3-hour minimum
Owner-operator plus box truck with tail lift. Best for packed homes where the customer can help with light items, or pre-agreed solo-safe loads.
Everything must be packed and boxed. No single item beyond two-person lift unless customer assists.
2 movers + truck
A$169.00/hr · 3-hour minimum
Two movers plus box truck with tail lift. Standard for 2+ bedroom homes, heavy furniture and stairs.
Required for pianos-excluded heavy items, multiple flights of stairs, or unpacked homes.
Deposit is 20% of the minimum charge, capped at A$100, credited to the final invoice. Prices are not subject to GST while Ormond Movers is below the GST registration threshold. If GST registration occurs, prices will state GST explicitly.
Our truck
Hired box truck (Budget-style, car licence, tail lift) — 20 cubic metres, tail lift. Reserved per booked weekend; rental confirmation is part of dispatch checklist.
